you think we will go in with 2 recognised striker as i still think jovetic is being brought in as a left sided attacking player not a striker.

Aguero, Negredo, Guidetti and Jovetic that can play there. If we have two strikers injured just play one up top. Ie:

Navas_____Silva_____Nasri

_________Striker

I think we could comfortably follow the Spanish game and play 4-5-1 or even 4-6-0. Either line is flexible enough to go 4-3-3 if needed. Depending on the shape of our midfield, this can be either attacking, defensive, or neutral. We have a wide array of players for this area of the pitch, and we would need only one out-and-out striker at the most as many of our midfielders are attacking by nature, yet strong enough to snuff out any opposition if they are able to work up a head of steam.

I think we need three out-and-out strikers, at the very least, however we play (even if we end up using a 4-3-3, a 4-2-3-1 and even a 4-6-0 exclusively). Those would be Aguero, Negredo (I expect Dzeko will leave if Negredo arrives) and Guidetti. Jovetic is more of a support striker/left forward.

Having three strikers and Jovetic would allow us to have enough depth to regularly play strike partnerships if we wanted (which if you look at MP's former sides is likely).

Totally agree.

Hes happy to stay in Spain apparently

are selling strategies club in manchester city twice his salary, will be crazy to leave, but can not say, cheapen the signing

He said that he is happy at seville but if he goes ti will be both for his benefit and the clubs benefit, it was just a completely diplomatic answer to a leading question.

I know were still yet to be a real force in Europe but come on man, Sevilla, Manchester City, are Sevilla gonna be winning any titles soon???

Stretch yerself kidder, never know you may have a PL and FA cup winners medal to yer name by the end of next season.

That's only half the quote. He's happy to stay at Seville but will leave if it benefits both the club and himself. He's happy on a personal level but feels collectively they haven't achieved the goals they wanted.

So instead of the negative spin you've put on it, it sounds very much like he's open to a move.

And perhaps softening the fans up before his departure?

La salida de Negredo está prevista, a priori, para comienzos de la próxima semana. Algo menos de 25 kilos, pero un gran pago al contado.

25 kilo's? what are we paying in!?

Marca claims City hope to sign Negredo by the 17th but also that it has been delayed - related to reported interest in Ibra or coincidence?

Estadio Deportivo says City will sign Negredo for "considerably less" than the £21.5million asking price with much of the fee paid at once.
