Overall, not a bad match, but I can't remember the last good shot he has done. 90% hits the opponent, 5% are not on target and 4% go on target but without any danger.

That’s the thing with Jack he’s rarely bad. Just usually that kind of performance on the left every week.

I think he’s looked sharp so far this season.

When he speeds things up or acts on instinct (like that cushioned first-time pass into Gvardiol's path at the weekend) he looks so much better. It's almost like he's overwhelmed when presented with options and that delay in making his choice means his pass or shot is getting read or blocked.

Can't fault his work rate but there's a fine line between deliberation and indecision and he's too often on the wrong side of it right now

Exactly, that's part of the 1% where he actually produces a good shot. Although even that it was so obvious where the shot was going, that the GK saved it without too much trouble.

Just see how Jack telegraphs where every shot is going with the positioning of his body (especially when he needs like 2-3 seconds to just shoot). It's very bad technique for an offensive player.

He will get plenty time, on the bench though unfortunately for him

His most progressive work comes when he’s in our half. He loves beating men when running horizontally across the pitch or facing our goal.
