That'd be good, but he clearly won't be anywhere near match fit. Maybe better to give him minutes for England so he's nearer match fit when he returns. It's a risk obviously, but may be what we're thinking
Well that aged well based on Pep's presser today lol.
I'm referring to us both btw.
I'm back to my original - if he pulls on an England shirt he's fucked with us

Yeh, you can definitely see Pep isn't impressed! Whether that's just the questions or whatever is actually going on behind the scenes.

I thought that players were required to turn up to the squad , and be exempted by the team doctor.

Perhaps he had no option ?
It is. If a player is called up, the country’s FA can demand to let their medical team assess a player.

It generally doesn’t get that far as a club can send medical info across.

I’d wait and see if Grealish makes it to training before calling out any conspiracy.

I'm just not sure why he'd share with his Instagram followers that he'd been called up, unless he intended on actually being part of the squad, sessions and games?

Yes but BM posters like to get arsey before being aware of all the facts.:)

it’s like having one of those mad arguments where no one actually speaks to the other person and everything is Chinese whispers. Why have Pep and Jack not cleared it up between them? Yesterday we were informed by sources that Jack was back in training, Pep says not fit for selection, Carsley calls him up and says vital part of squad etc.

Mental.

That’s not the case if they aren’t fit for the game preceding the internationals.

A strange situation this. Not sure what's going on in all honesty. We miss him and I hope there's nothing more to it and he's not been frozen out. We're being destroyed on the counter and Jack doesn't lose the ball. He might not beat players the way Doku and Savinho do, but he does tie them up and find a team mate in space which helps us break sides down.

When KDBbwas missing the cockroaches asked what exactly was the issue & Pep explained so I wonder why they didn’t ask. Unless they like the mystery surrounding Jack not playing but then Pep could have provided clarity.

Just so you can stick it in your pipe and smoke it, I was busy finding it and am correct….

The country can request he’s examined by the national team doctors but highly unlikely that would happen.
So exactly as I wrote above?

No, that’s not what was said. You wouldn’t have requested me to show the law if you actually thought I was correct. We can pull him out and not let him go, which is not what you said in the slightest. They can request to see him if they didn’t believe us but considering he’s not been fit for selection for City for weeks then that wouldn’t happen, would it.

No, we can’t, unless we want him suspended for a period of time.

It wouldn’t happen anyway. Our medical team would advise Grealish to withdraw rather than the club demand he not go. Then the national FA can get FIFA involved in suspending the player.

No point in anyone arguing about it, like I put on this thread 45 mins ago, he will be assessed by the England camp, that's one thing, but if he plays then that is fair game for the arguments to begin, just plays perfectly this into my club over country thing this, but those who are staunch Grealish fans must surely see a crack or three appearing if he plays even 5 mins for England.

You appear to have a real issue over this call up .

Why not complain to the FA instead of getting so bloody argumentative and seemingly.all.knowing ?

Agreed. We’ll know far more this time next week. At the moment it’s conjecture and smoke and mirrors.
