10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

There must have been some contact between England and City otherwise why he has been called up and John Stones hasn't? Both openly reported as injured, both unavailable for at least 2 preceding games - you would expect them both to be left out or both to be called in for medical exam unless City have confirmed one is fitter than the other
 
There are a couple of articles that Grealish was in a video call with Villa fans on Wednesday night. The fans were in a pub in Brugge, presumably Grealish was at home. They were singing about him in the call. You could clearly see Jack in the call.

Personally it doesn’t bother me, but maybe it does the club, although I would doubt it. He was there a long time at Villa and it may have been a close mate who video called him.
 
My tuppence , winning the treble he thought he had made it , didnt have the motivation to go for the 4th title so had a bad season last year and this season is a mystery . Pep wants gundy and rodders and kev level of commitment and motivation , i just dont feel he has it left in him

Just my opinion before i get fucking piled on !

Yeah no pile on here but your opinions a load of shit, hope that’s a sufficient enough response.
 
We have been through this shit, Pep says something cryptic and not clear about certain players then some of fans is wildly speculating about it for the next week.

Only it didn't happen the way they think it is.
 
I’m not sure why everyone’s still moaning, it’s obvious he’s back in training, not ‘fit’ for this weeks game but hopes to be available for the next couple of weeks (England games included) why is this so hard to understand ?

As pep said, it’s carsley that’s called him up, so it’s him who’s going to have to suffer if he’s not fit and he has a space wasted for his international games in his squad.

Would it be a bad thing if he got some minutes in his legs for england to get him match ready for us?

For once the international break might be an advantage in a few ways

He answered the questions, nothing at all to say he’s pissed off with Jack ,just you and some others seeing what you want to see. I would put money on Jack being at City in February and next season.

Probably a fairly simple explanation. He may well be training and in the England squad. Pep has decided he isn’t match fit so won’t include him tomorrow. Most like to ensure he can withdraw him. If he played tomorrow or was on the bench he wouldn’t be able to withdraw him. Nothing much more complicated than that.

I said pep was pissed but wasn’t sure if it was at carsley or Grealish.

I don’t really care for Grealish, I think he is an average player and has been a disappointing signing given the money spent on him. His goal and assist record speak for itself not to mention his off field behaviour (involved with mendys party’s, being left out of Fulham squad for poor training, turning up training hungover with foden, binge drinking antics during parades etc etc).

It always amazes me how mahrez got so much shit on here yet he missed one game through injury and scored and assisted and won us games single handily.

Some just love Jack they can’t have a bad word said about him
