"But mostly annoyed that he/our medical team didn't get the chance to tell England not to call him up?" wasnt a problem with stones who did not get called up and is injured?Stones wasn't called up?

You wouldn't? I'd love van de ven, he'd be my number 1 choice for defensive reinforcement, if throwing grealish into the deal secured that, I'd do it tomorrow. Bissouma could also be very useful for our rodri shaped hole in midfield. Pedro porro would be our first choice right back if we hadn't sold him, son even just a few years off retirement is better than any winger we currently have. Plenty of quality at spurs.I wouldn't swap him for any Spurs player but if he wants to leave then fair enough they have to cough up.
I think Pep's been here before with a lot of our players who have at various times chosen to play for their country when he might prefer them to stay home and train at City.Maybe, but I thought he looked particularly pissed off when he paused before saying Jack wants to go
Pep definitely isn't happy
I hope so because we need all the players to get us through at the moment, but there's definitely some tension thereI think Pep's been here before with a lot of our players who have at various times chosen to play for their country when he might prefer them to stay home and train at City.
It pisses him off - especially if they come back injured - but I get the impression he understands how the players feel about representing their countries and that given the opportunity, most of them will always want to go.
He may not be pleased but I don't see anything in that clip that suggests irreconcilable differences or a breakdown of the player-coach relationship.
Of course, that might become more strained if he comes back with an injury set-back.
Grealish apparently listened to Pep in March and gave up his spot in that national call up.I think Pep's been here before with a lot of our players who have at various times chosen to play for their country when he might prefer them to stay home and train at City.
