10 years ago today....

A day to remember, nothing but Blue coaches and cars all the way to Wembley, the Green man for the first time and absolutely pissed, the roundabout on the way to the ground overrun by Blues, first site of the Rags arriving by bus to a hail of cans to welcome them, the pre match Poznan then the nerves kicking in, Yahya's goal the celebration, the final whistle, the final celebration, the empty seats where that shower of shit were sat, back to the Green man, hugging and kissing (FFS) we were like kids again, loved every minute of the day, that's what we live for, those momentsas a Blue, long may it last.

I had gone to watch Burnley that day meeting some friends from when I lived there. Watched the first half hour in the 110 club there. Thought we were getting dicked having just seen Berbatovs double miss. Left to get the train back to the coast unaware of the score as no smart phone then. Went into my local Spar to buy a lottery ticket and heard a voice on a NW music channel talking like the queen had died. He said " because of Rooney's ban, the greatest football side in history had been denied the treble", I shit you not that was what he said . I said to the shop keeper a Liverpool fan have City won then? YEAH said the Scouser with great delight. I felt such joy which was only ever exceeded on 13 5 13. I never saw us beating them in a decisive match in my life time and back then the whole country was cheering with us. After 34 years the day the tide turned.

Was it wio that said Mario was disrespectful for celebrating infront of the rag fans. When the fimlnal whistle went I thought Mario just celebrated and didnt move towards the rags. Wio being a soft arsed hardman wannabe pissed off with losing.
But it was perfectly ok around the same time for the granny shagger to run to the corner where the city fans were in the swamp after his shinner with that bellend French left back pretending to rub his eyes

Anyone think Wio would have grabbed hold of Dave Watson , Mike Doyle or Andy Morrison, neither do I.
Also don't I remember rat boy running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of dippers fans at the swamp.
