Was like watching Adama Traore today. Held on to the ball far too long and killed a few counter attacks. Wanted to beat a player 3 times instead of trying to find a teammate.

He is amazing 1v1 but his decision making needs a lot of work.

Say what you want, but with Grealish we won the treble and that wasn't a coincidence.

In these games, controlling the tempo and "High IQ" playing style is more important, than excellent 1vs1 performances, which unfortunately in the end - aren't converted into the goals..

Especially when KDB returns..

Imagine 32 years old KDB, playing 90 minutes in this kind of high tempo game..

We need to be more calmer, more patient, more cold-blooded...

Run run run, dribble dribble dribble and what's the result ? 0 goal contributions..

I mean I like Doku as a Mahrez replacement, but Grealish ? Nope

Cause - we won the fucking treble with Jack..

Hence, Jack is the best.
wtf

Still not fully convinced.

Great at going past a player, but not seeing much in the way of end product.

Time is certainly on his side.
I’m getting Saint-Maximin vibes with him. Hopefully his end product improves as he gains experience and makes my comparison silly.

He and Haaland should practise their movements with each other.

That's a very harsh view of Doku today.

That's it, you assume that experience will be the making of him, and I'm not saying he'll never make it, just that I'm not swimming with the tide of thinking he needs to start each game.

He's dangerous and unpredictable, but just hoping he can turn these 'take ons' into putting the ball in the net, or delivering a dangerous cross.

At the moment there's a lot of putting the ball into an area, or beating people for the sake of it. I think there were 2 or 3 occasions in the first half where he's been caught on the ball which resulted in a counter attack.

Through no fault of his own.
I think that's debatable. I thought Doku played well on the whole, but I do think he missed some opportunities to play guys in at times. In his defense, when he did get the pass right, they weren't finished off.

He’s still learning and adapting. Think there were three occasions today that saw confusion at the back post when players either didn’t attack the ball or left it for others and it all came to nought.

He's performed very well so far although I do feel his decision making could be better.

Sure Pep will be working with him on that aspect.
