When they play that ball between the full back and centre half he should get round the back to cross it, he’s certainly fast enough, we should see a lot of assists

Looked nervous but that’s ok. Shows he wants to do well.

Once he get the training needed to understand when to run in behind and when to pass short he will be fine. The short burst to get past him man is great.

Jack will hold down the wing. He will get minutes of the bench until he is up to speed imo.

Nothing exciting today. Needs training sessions and also Pep talks. Technical ability isn't up to the standard we are used to either. So with Haaland AND Doku we have good counter attacking tools for a team that is rarely allowed to counter attack. Nor suited to our patient keep ball as they both don't hold the ball up as well as others.

I expect he'll make a terrific full back once we see he isn't quite there in the final 3rd. Good luck to the kid though.

Thought it was a bit harsh throwing him in from the start. He still got in behind a couple of times but he’s had probably 1/50 of the training time as Oscar Bobb has.
