It's strange with Doku because while his main strength is obviously unpredictability, his comments seem to suggest he prefers structure and stability in how the team around him play. Mind you, probably because the whole gameplan is geared towards getting him 1v1 and isolated against his marker.

Specialist in 1v1 key for Pep this season and it give us an edge in attack. So exciting to watch him against Brighton. I fear for Grealish a bit and hope he steps up his game. Nothing more of motivation than a player like Doku challenging you.
 
Very good performance, especially in the 1st half when Milner could n't handle him. Shame he didn't get on the scoresheet and once he masters the curling shot on his right foot there will be no stopping him.

He is not afraid from 1 VS 1 Dribblings....
 
Usually takes our wide players a year or so to click so I'm excited to see where he is after a season with us.

We've lacked an exciting attacking winger for a while and he's providing the entertainment.

Excellent first half yesterday, got the crowd going every time, he's had a great start with us.

I wouldn't call him perfect yet, his final ball and shooting need improvement, but his dribbling is phenomenal.

I loved his reaction after Milner had gone in hard on him, dusted himself down and then carried on ripping him apart.

Great show of character.
 
An excellent performance and in time he'll develop more of an understanding with his teammates that will see him get the final ball right more frequently. Hopefully a week practicing that curling shot into the far corner and he'll have it nailed for the swamp!
 
My dream is for Doku to put in a big performance at Anfield.
Rinse whoever they play at FB with City coming off with a win.

not a player we can rely on yet for full 90 mins to press, track back and do his runs/tricks.

first 25 mins he was very good maybe his crossing should have been bit better.

With his playing style and quite stocky body type I'm not sure if he will ever be able to play a full 90 minutes the way he played the first 45... That's not a huge problem however. He will learn when to go and when to chill. Also, in games that are played even more in the opposition half he won't have to do as much running.
 
Looking to be a very exciting buy but still very raw and fades second half big time.
Hopefully jack can find his feet again and doku introduced from the bench till hes up to scratch and we can unleash both
 
Along with lewis, he suffered more than anyone from the pitch. His game is based on his lightning agility and movement, the pitch was always going to make it hard for him tonight.
