The pass was sublime, but the graft to get the ball and get into the position to release him makes it extra special. Seems a likeable and liked lad, too.

He’s been a revelation and I couldn’t be happier that we have such a diverse choice of styles and skill sets out wide. Nobody is guaranteed that starting position because every opposition will be different. Anyone demanding he starts every game aren’t looking at the bigger picture.
I’m a positive soul though…

I don't know if he has benched Grealish or not but it's nice to know we have someone to impact the game with goals and assists.

Some will likely criticise his lack of defensive chasing back at times, but it's worth pointing out that it was Doku that robbed the Bournemouth player deep in our half before rounding a player and sending Bernardo through for his second. Commendable.

No one made more tackles in the game than Doku.

That sounds rather impressive until you find out it was actually only 2 tackles and that Bournemouth players also made 2 tackles. :-)
