The link-up between De Bruyne and Haaland is going to be seriously special.

Let's hope Kev still has a few years left in him yet.

The genius assist aside,a very poor game by his standards.....probably our worst performer.

Its odd as he looked amazing against Bayern, yet carried on yesterday where he left off in the charity shield.

He’s clearly not got his match legs yet. Thought his passing was well off again like last week against Liverpool.

But the class was there for the one pass that mattered for Erling’s second goal.

It's classic Kev for me. Has a few below par performances and we all question his fitness or whether we're stronger with Bernardo/Gundo.

But then... he goes on a run of world class form that only he's capable of producing.

And, my, when he hits that level it's going to be frightening for everyone else - especially with Big Erl up top.

It’s also classic De Bruyne to still produce game-winning moments even when well below bar

As he gets older it's going to take him a bit of time each season to get up to speed. Expect him to hit full flight in November.

Had a blinding pre-season and then was shocking against Liverpool and equally so yesterday. But then played one pass which was just right on the money and got the game won. Not bad is he! In all seriousness, the combination he can have with Haaland is frightening once De Bruyne gets back into form.

He’ll have a good World Cup then…

Fucking stupid World Cup. I just can’t wait for it to be over. Every time I think about it, it pisses me off.

A guaranteed 2-3 key players getting more or less serious injuries seems to be the norm. The only silver lining is Haaland getting a good rest and a chance to strengthen his body for the rest of the season as we (Norway) are so shit we never even qualify for the tournament.

That first half performance from Kev had the best of Yaya, Sergio, David Silva and well Kev...all rolled into one..

That pass to Foden was Silva-esque
That break and run for the 2nd goal was Yaya
That finish with outside of his foot was Sergio and the rest was his brilliant self.

Took his foot of the gas as they all did 2nd half but game was done but that first 45 from Kev was a hybrid of our recent greats

Honestly, I think he's the best player in the world right now. I cannot think of another player who, in the round, is better than he is.

Amazing technique, instant control, two-footed, goal-scoring instinct, incredible vision, passing, finishing, work ethic, attitude. He is absolutely amazing.

Agreed, seems funny to me as I was actually pretty worried about his injury after the spurs game at the start of last season when the news going round was that he would have to have surgery, felt we might of seen a decline in terms of his athletic ability because of it, boy was I wrong.

His form in 2022 has been something special.
