Also do you remember his celebration after scoring in Madrid? He was pointing to the sky and then crying into his hands. I honestly think he’s struggling big time with grief. He’s lost someone extremely close and probably has been asked if he wants time off and he’s no doubt said no and is playing/fighting through it. He’ll never read this but we love you Kevin. Hope he’s ok.

Something along the lines of it’s a huge accomplishment to be out there playing after what he was told by KDB, noticeably he was absent from the group photo after the game as well

One of the best midfielders to ever play the game.

He definitely looked like something off the pitch is on his mind, though, as he has been very emotional as of late, even in his celebrations. I hope I am wrong, as it would likely be a passing or an illness.

Just hoping it is not him.

Edit: Just saw Theiry Henry’s comments about his conversation with Kev after the match (he basically said he can’t say what Kev told him but what he heard makes him respect his performance tonight even more) and that makes me think there is definitely something going on that is weighing on Kev.

Good first half from Kev, poor second, he looked exhausted in the second half and was just letting players run off him, didnt even bother to press at times.

Ive read that he maybe having personal issues, hope he pulls through ok.
