SSN's "Special Report" on Monday is about us, FFP, our £195m losses etc, with special guests Ivan Gazidis and Christian Purslow. For the love of God.

MCFC ruining football since 2009! Pmsl...Scousers/Gooners shitting it..funny how they haven't asked anyone from our board for a balanced view!!

SSN have just had another financial expert on, this time the guy from Liverpool university. Shot down James cooper, says the report only tells half the story,
revenues up and we have the fastest growth in income of any club since the start of the premiership, expects turnover to exceed £200 million by next year
It's great when a club can make a record loss and SSN have now had 2 experts saying in effect we have nothing to worry about,
He finishes by saying our owner invests in the club whereas the Glaziers are only taking more out
I love it when a plan comes together

Can someone tell me if this is correct if so which years? Other posters have said that part of the wage bill can be excluded?

Any players signed before June 2010 wages don't count, any players deemed to be available for sale amortisation does not count. So all the MH signings including Tevez don't count in FFPR although they will still show on profit and loss accounts, this is my understanding of the rules. Typical city ruining profit and loss accounts :-)

So does that mean that the wages of Joe, De Jong, VK, Micah etc will not be counted even though their wages will have been included in these figures?

Absolutely, add to these, Bridge, Adebayour, RSC it then starts to make sense why maybe we are holding off from renewing contracts of NDJ and Vinnie till next financial year. IMO :-) I think Micah signed new contract recently so I suspect his wages are now included in FFPR, along with JH and Zab and AJ.

It goes by when they signed their current contract not when they were bought. So, any contracts signed before Jun 2010 don't count but any renewals after that date will count towards FFPR.

But if a player signs a contract extension his wages are then included even though?

Thanks Bluemonday.

I wonder if The FFPR will take into account the amount of money we will have generated for Abu Dhabi and their increase in tourism.
This club is an investment for it's owners, generating exposure in the western world for their tourist hotspot
