Love Kyle, but he is far more an athlete than a footballer. His physicality is an amazing asset for the team, just a shame his technical ability and intelligence isn't anywhere near the same level.
+1 Today game showed his best and worst attributes in sharp contrast.good one on one defensively but lacks in positioning and ball technique in terms of body shape receiving and passing the ball. When ball was played to always took more than two touches and wasn't aggressive in playing penetrating passes and struggles to give vertical passes between the lines like dias or stones.

Super fit athletes who has played the most games for us in the last 3 years.
Fast pace, good defensively in the box and good attitude.
But his lack of on the ball technique and skills just shows esp. considering that he plays with the likes of silva, kdb, aguero, dias etc. but he is hardly alone to be fair to him both stones and sterling other prominent english players not from our academy have this deficit in different aspects.

On balance he is a good player.

Superb once more. our most irreplaceable outfield player even ahead of kdb, Aguero, sterling etc. God knows what we will do when his pace goes.

MOTM without doubt. Brilliant performance, but there's another game on Saturday and another soon after, and his next critical mistake won't be far away. Could argue he made one tonight when he slid for the ball as last man and there player was all but through. They're never far away

Him, sterling and Ederson have arguably been the most important players in pep's era if not on performances/consistency alone then certainly on availability(very understated point) but if you were to believe others on here they are frauds that are carried by playing in a pep team.

Good to see pep has abandoned the idea of using walker as a wingback, struggled in that position including against lyon and leicester, has played better as a wide CB of a back 3.

The only player right now - along with the Ederson - who is up to standards Manchester City has..

I am not talking about quality and skills only, but the fight and determination and dedication through the games - he still has that hunger centurions had..

Definitely captain material for me.

This is very harsh on Foden

Kyle Walker deserves so much credit this season he has been outstanding. Bit of a nightmare at home to Leicester but the team as a whole that day was poor.

His recovery speed to stop counter attacks isn't normal!

Pep said in the presser that Walkers "in the best form since I've been at city" ... Can't say I disagree.
