Rory Smith on The Monday Night Club yesterday was saying that the players voted him captain because of his big speech before the CL final last year. The fact he got over the disappointment of not playing the biggest game of his carrer so quick, put the team first and did everything he could to help them really resonated with them and made them see him as a leader.
