He was solid. Always frustrates in the final 3rd, but defensively did his job

Had a poor first half for me, caught up the pitch too much, was slow to get back, forcing Bernardo to play fullback most of the first half and wasteful in attack when released. The more complicated he makes things, the worse he gets. Second half he played much more in his normal role just doing what hes good at and was infinitely better, rock solid second half.

Our Captain has been much improved over the past few weeks. He had a spell earlier in the season when he was giving wingers far too much time and space, wasn’t closing them down quick enough and we were conceding chances and goals as a result.
He’s clearly listened to what the coaches have been saying to him as he’s much more alert and his positioning has been markedly better. The result being we’ve conceded far less chances and therefore goals.
What has been great to see is that he has grown into the role of being Captain. On the pitch he’s talking to his teammates, supporting them and making sure they’re switched on.
I don’t care about his personal life, it’s exactly that, though some on here won’t agree. For me, he’s ended the season very well and I’m hoping he’s lifting two trophies over the course of the next 8 days.
