Like Kev another player showing signs of decline , has made too many basic errors this season and i expect the club to be looking for a top class replacement in the next 12 months , he really has been brilliant for us and you wouldnt find a more committed , passionate player but father time catches up with everybody.

He was one of the best today. Stones looked at Mainoo twice and turned his face away from him.

Thought he was poor apart from the shot his muscle memory is he strong and fast unfortunately he isn’t anymore

Can’t just say “few lapses” when these lapses are as backbreaking as they are. He loses us matches with these “lapses”. Stop defending him. Once a great player but is beyond shit now. It’s ok to say that.

Few lapses. But, pocketed Rashford, stopped a lot of counters, only player actually shooting well. Imagine how many we'd concede in this highline without him

Maybe we'd play a slightly deeper line without him and be all the better for it

His recovery runs look great but I think sometimes he gives the attacker a yard so he can show off a bit with it. The total lack of awareness/ effort to get back on for their second is symptomatic of his season - it's either laziness or he genuinely doesn't see the danger

Same with Kev we have to start the ball rolling for a replacement and considering on how close he was in joining Bayern Munich last season it won't become a complete shock to me if he goes this summer.
