2022 World Cup Discussion

On paper it looks a decent final.......but we have all witnessed the standard in this tournament,and it hasn't been great.

I don't like either team,but,because of our links....i'll go with the Argies.

I think the standard of the traditionally weaker teams has been good, but there’s no great teams. The fact that France have looked pretty comfortable with half their squad missing tells a story.

But actually it’s not uncommon for tournament winners to look a bit boring and average.

International football is always a bit more conservative than club football as players don’t have long to adapt to playing with who they’re used too and there’s so much at stake for them

Overall though, the shock results, the work rate/drive from the likes of Croatia, Japan, Morocco and the individual stars like Messi and Mbappe etc have made this a great tournament
