24 Hours In Police Custody

I’m sorry but I’m in the minority here. That vigilante got exactly what he deserved.
Playing the big hero and injuring two people. A 4x4 vs a moped is not a fair fight.
He had got them out of his house, neither himself nor his family were in any danger and he chased after them and rammed them with his 2-tonne car.
A proper billy big bollocks who should have got longer. Hopefully he will learn his lesson and not play the superhero in future.
I’d have given him an extra five years for his gross stupidity.

Had a hard time feeling empathetic to him. Came across as entitled, quite thick and pathetic (the squeaky childish voice, doesn't help) and sad.

The way he described it his wife got an abortion to maintain their current lifestyle and not because of the precarious situation, and he spunked 50k on pleading not guilty for the sake of his ego and entitlement.

Not seen programme so all that may be true. The two blokes would still be on the missing list had they come into my house though.

And if they come into your house and you come across them IN your house the law provides for you to use reasonable force to defend yourself.
If you then chased after them in your 4x4 and rammed them off the road causing life changing injuries you, like the guy in the programme, would quite correctly find yourself going to the big house.

There’s no winners in this episode. Two young lads got injured and sentenced. Another young lad found out the hard way that vigilantism comes with severe repercussions

I accept that vigilantism comes with punishment. Guess we are all made different.

Two petty thieves who saw the motorbike he was advertising as an opportunistic prize.

They never crossed the threshold, he spotted them on a security camera shouted them off from inside the house (without opening door). And then gave chase in his car. Crashed into them and another car was hit by the motorbike and the 4x4 went under a flatbed truck.

He also made up a silly bollocks story and insulted the blokes in front of the cops wearing body cams. Comes across as narcissistic and potentially even psychopathic.
