Some players need a season to settle in , not this lad , he has slotted in like he has played for us for a decade , many similairities to Vinnie , uses his strength to knock players off the ball and leads by example , alongside Ake our best centre back pairing this season. Which is ridiculous when we you think we have genuine top class defenders like Dias,Laporte and Stones amongst our squad.

Not particularly comfortable at right back but needs must, and he does a job there.
