I personally think this lad will be class for us in due course. Remember, many Pep players take at least a season to acclimatize.

Last night, that third goal was all about him.

I've said it before, but try him at right-back... Invert him while in possession, of course.

Our third goal at Copenhagen was a potential glimpse at what could be... What's there to lose besides hurting Walker's ego? We're leaking goals as it is, and our right-side attack is dead in most games. He's got all the physical tools to play RB, and for a team that dominates the ball as we do, he'd be playing as a midfielder more often than not.

only 5 PL starts for him so far, and strictly vs bottom half clubs.

also subbed off most of these starts, Wolves is the memorable one where Pep pulled him in HT minute for Bobb.

440 minutes of PL football for him so far at City, and cannot see him starting many in last 13 rounds unless many injuries to others.

not saying Kalvin Phillips level of playing time as last season he only started 2 PL games and total of 290 minutes played in PL, but not far off.

not sure we will see the best of him without a run of games for him.

Maybe see him v Luton?

Talented but think he'll be quietly shuffled off in the summer when we go back in for Paqueta. He was fourth choice last year (after Bellingham, Rice, and Paqueta) and was signed as a last resort. Has done alright without ripping up any trees but has come in during a season when Foden has really nailed that #8 spot. Can be trusted against bottom-half teams, will collect a tidy fee when we sell him to somewhere in Portugal or Spain in July.

Don't think it will be this summer but he certainly hasn't hit the ground running.

He’s a quality player. He just needs to bed in, learn the system, and understand his role is a critical one that can hurt us if we end up losing the ball when committed forward.

I think he could become and even stronger, faster version of Gundo, with a better shot on him.

And, not for nothing, it’s probably pretty intimidating walking into a City squad with the personnel we have available to us in midfield!!
