I’m not having him at 8 at all. Bench KDB and push Foden wide to accommodate him…No, just no. You can’t be a ghost at 8 in this side unless you consistently provide goals and/or assists. Popping up with a driving run every now and again just doesn’t cut the mustard when you’re invisible for 90% of a game.

What's going on with this chap. Or was it seriously just an agent bung? Had the presence of a gnat today.

i will say it again but signing him still doesnt any sense to me. what role is he supposed to fill? he looks like a beta version of kovacic with far worse performances. he is at his best carrying the ball into open spaces, something that he doesnt get a lot of here.

Not at the races. Doubt he will be much of starter. Still early days and time for him to learn the City way.

Very poor again. I know its first season , settling in etc, but this guy hasnt got 1% bottle, he pulls out of challenges which are 90/10 in his favour. Played with 10 men when he was on

Looks like his a confidence player?! He plays worse than one of our youth players and his work rate was piss poor! He needs to make a big improvement!

Unless we score early and space opens up, then he’s going to struggle when teams hold their shape. Everton had clearly learned from December and shut down all space, so it was a game for Bernardo and de Bruyne, but these guys need rest. Nunes needs to be patient and I suspect we do, too.

An enigma and we cannot afford one in our starting line up , he is a very good technician has lovely control and plays on the front foot , but i cannot see him starting any of the important games , too much of a risk. Not a bad player by any means but not quite good enough for the elite level we need

Said this everytime Iwe've seen him play and I still am utterly convinced of it, he fits into the side as a wide midfielder on the right hand sidenright now. all his attributes point to it. It is just odd now that pep continues to push him as a central midfielder. He might end up there after a year or two with peps guidance but for now he has to play out wide.

This game alongside his Burnley one just shows where he is at, very inconsistent but tremendous ability. Won't be near the team for an important CL game but has a chance to get into the team for those next season. Just got to see how he does rest of the season. Judge him as a whole rather than game to game.

Really needs to hit the weights. Felt like he bottled every 50/50 and bottling that ahead of Pickford was bizarre.

Really needs to utilize Peps coaching because today's the type of game he needs to slot in seamlessly.

He could have got the all first he seemed scared of contact if he got to the ball first!
