27 | Matheus Nunes - 2024/25

One very basic thing that I'd like to see Nunes improve on is to pass with a bit more "punch".

When we knock the ball about the ball needs to travel at a perfect speed and an immaculate accuracy.

Some players are better at this than others. Nunes' passes imo seem a little slower than they should be sometimes. And that obviously slows down the game and could end up with an interception.

I'm hoping as he gets more game time this will be less visible.
That is simply down to playing with world class players whos' first touch is off the scale.

That will come and it's what takes the time to learn.

2-3 good cameos is too little for someone who has cost £53m and is far away from being top class player. Nice assist against WHU, bo if City would replace him with a better player, nobody would cry.

Agree. He should be starting against Brentford or Inter as he has not played international football during the break. He won’t start though which speaks volumes. He will start against Watford in the carabao cup.

He is the first name to be sold and replaced by a better player whether it will be forward or midfielder.
