Yes the entire league. Have you seen the premier league potm nominations? I know that's strictly league only but look at the nominations for best player of the month, look at Nunes' performances since wolves and tell me he hasn't been better than at least one of those nominations in that period. He's been excellent, regardless of how shit the rest have been and theres no need to mention the rest have been shit, it just reads as an attempt to downplay his performances. if anything, the fact we he's performing when the team aren't makes it more impressive.

But just ask yourself this question.. other than KDB, Foden & Savinho.. do you see anyone playing key line breaking passes through to Haaland?

pretty sure he did, against Sporting....Halaand missed again though.

He started the Southampton game in October and thats its. he wasnt close to getting on that list

I didnt say he was, I literally acknowledged that's the league only and he's played in 3 competitions. I merely used the premier league nominations for the best players in the month as a comparison to what Nunes has done in all comps to justify me saying hes been one of the best players in the league since coming in. He's our joint second top scorer and joint second in assists having played far fewer minutes than any other winger, he's been excellent.

Thing is, people will always want more.

He was singled out at the start of the season as being the weak link in the squad and now he's had game time - and done more than well enough - it's that he's not doing enough.

I personally think he's mint. I've been harping on about him playing on the wing for a while because it's obvious Pep doesn't trust him centrally but his pace in wide areas would be mint. And he has all the other attributes which come with being a capable centre midfielder that Pep likes.

Undroppable for me right now. And deserves to keep his place in the side.
