Taxi for Philips,it would appear......

Pep Guardiola: "I'm not complaining about Kalvin because when you don't play much it's difficult to take the rhythm. John [Stones] we're seven years together, Rodri is [four] years together. I don't have to tell them anything. Just little details - a movement here or there... We will see at the end of the season. We'll sit with the players. Maybe they want more minutes or maybe they are not happy with the situation. But right now I'm not going to discuss anything''

Well Maguire isn't the answer, and Shaw is only a stop gap,so maybe a good shout for you.

Hmm too bad. I liked Phillips and I hoped he would have a chance to find his old self next season.

He has had plenty of chance this season to show Pep that there is hope, but it would seem, unlike others who somewhat struggled initially.....nothing that suggest there is light at the end has materialised.

We aint done too shabby.....we were never going to get all our signings right.

I just read Pep’s comments about Kalvin and the tone reminded me of what he said about Joe Hart just after he arrived. We all know how that ended and I‘m afraid I can’t see a different ending for Kalvin.

The BBC are saying West Ham are looking at him. I think that would be a perfect solution for him. I just hope we have someone to provide cover for Rodri.

Not sure, I think he was saying it’s down to Phillips to decide himself whether to give it another year and try and get what they are trying to teach him about the position, or move on. No idea what he’ll decide but didn’t sound like he’d be pushed out.

Maybe in training sessions but definitely not on match days.

3-0 up at home and the game well and truly won and Pep brings Phillips on for the added on time to replace Rodri who badly needs a rest, says it all. I'd be surprised if Phillips is here next season. Just hasn't shown very much of anything this season.
