Goosebumps watching Phil against Andorra. He is exceptional and a proper footballer.

Foden is a generational talent and literally can achieve anything in the game. A future ballon d'or winner sooner rather than later considering how his game is progressing.

If he keeps his head down, matures and stays on the straight and narrow and I've absolutely no reason at all to see why he wont, he's going to be up there with the world elite within the next 2-3 years. We all thank you Pep.

Now imagine how good he would be if instead of staying with the best manager in the world, on one of the best teams in the world, with some of the best players in the world, he went and got some minutes in a championship team like the media were baying for.
He should have gone on loan to Burnley, let’s say. That would have brought him on as a player. :)

He won’t get to play like that for us yet; Guardiola would sub him for not playing 4 simple 5 yard passes, where one longer one is sufficient, to get the ball to the same destination.

He’s like a hybrid of Scholes and Giggs, with a higher ceiling than both. For the time being, I’d leave him on the left wing, because it’s the one role in our current system that allows him to express himself, and utilise his goalscoring ability; long term when the Pep shackles are off and we play more expansive, instinctive football he could become a top class central midfield player.

If Pep doesn’t allow players to play on instinct and spray passes long and short how do you account for Kev doing his thing?

Your problem with Pep makes you sound like a proper bell end.

Mbappe and Foden are different type of players though. That being said I much rather prefer to have Foden here than Mbappe. I think Foden and Haaland would link up amazingly in our team. Imagine the quality balls Foden was sending yesterday land on Haaland one day.
