No.Would Pep have been impressed if both opportunities ended up in the onion bag?

whisper it quietly, but he’s not improving like we though he might. At 22 Messi was winning the Balon D’or
People are making that square ball sound easy but are you all missing the bloke in the way? Last weeks was unforgiveable but today it was much tougher. He tries to pass and hits the defender, everybody asks why he didn't shoot.
That aside, I'm a bit concerned about Phil. Feel like he's plateaued a bit and his defensive work, of which he was so good at a couple of seasons back, needs a lot of work. It's a really big season for him and he really needs to kick on.
Anfield last yearThe intention has to be to pass. That shot was never going in, I can't recall Foden ever scoring a far post shot.
so far his best football has been in that position....Not a left winger

i never got the silva comparisons completly different style of players hes probably closer to kdb than silva. He's no Messi and never will be, along with 99.9% of players.
Quite harsh comparing them.
I was hoping he would be David Silva's replacement but I don't think that will happen.
A motm performance should be a good start, he's not been the standout player in a long time.
You’re thinking of the goal from 2 seasons ago. Lasereyes is correct about last seasons goalThat wasn't a far post shot, that was above the keeper when he cut inside from the right. He's never drilled it across the keeper from an acute angle iirc.
Expecting more from Foden is understandable but comparing him to the greatest player ever is pretty unfairwhisper it quietly, but he’s not improving like we though he might. At 22 Messi was winning the Balon D’or
