He's turned into Grealish, choosing to pass it back first time, instead of driving into the box
He's not played great for England for a long time, not scored since 2023 I think.Another thread full of absolute goolies.
Since when did one poor 2/3 of one season in 7 encourage fans to turn on a player, let alone an academy player who is the reigning POTY and FWPOTY?
SHAME!
Who has played well for England? He's not played great for England for a long time, not scored since 2023 I think.
Really?Saka, Kane, Bellingham
Tuchel more or less said he was shite.. playing safe passes instead of making runs, taking people on and driving with the ball.
Basically what we've seen here all season where if he's not receiving the ball on the half turn, 25 yards away and right from centre of oppo goal, then he's offering little to no threat. Become a one trick pony.
He’s not played out of position though. Pep plays him in the same positions for City as often as he does centrally.Played out of position for England.
1/2 the player he was last season.
End the season.
Rest.
Come back firing on all cylinders.
Fingers crossed.
Nobody is turning on him. They're discussing his current performances, which have been poor, on his player performances thread. Not even close to the same thing.Another thread full of absolute goolies.

He's in a bad run of form, but he is also not a right winger, nor left winger, which is where he is being played in international football so that others can be accommodated.Do you not think so? They've been far more consistent and deserve to start.
I'm not even trying to dig out Foden here, Im not sure what's going on with him as to me at he won't be starting for club and country.
They’re all too scared to do what De Bruyne does? They’re all to scared to do what Sané Sterling Doku Savinho did/do?Same applies to Bernardo and Grealish. What/who is the common factor?
I'm not buying this played out of position argument. It's doing him and his talents a disservice; in any advanced position he's capable of producing better than he has done this season, and this isn't just reflective of last night.Played out of position for England.

This thread just confirms how fickle football fans are, and how quickly they can turn on someone.
If anyone thinks Phil Foden is done, well there isn’t much hope. He will once again win POTY, and on that I would happily put my mortgage.
He creates more chances and gets more assists from the wings than he does centrally. It’s something like twice as many assists in half as many games compared to centrally.Hes had great performances for us on the wings so this idea he's not in his natural position isnt true
