You got me wrong there Sam,i wasn't knocking Insanity,for the very reasons you state.
I should expand........ My point was that if you can motivate yourself,and with a little self education,you can easily formulate a diet and bodyweight workout plan that doesn't rely on an expensive purchase.
If structure is needed then Insanity and similar routines are great.
