6% increase

Just got back from a do at the club where they announced the season ticket plans for next season. Aside from the 6% average increase on prices, I suspect there's going to be quite a few unhappy City fans tomorrow.

There are some positives, mainly the introduction of cheap £250 season tickets (albeit a limited number, on a first come first served basis to existing season tickets holders only). Also, the plans for City Street look good (call it a halo effect). However, there are bigger plans afoot and people in the North Stand and East/West Level 2 are likely to be most disgruntled.

All details will be announced on the official site tomorrow morning.

When will they learn? Thought they didnt want empty seats?

People are just going to end up paying for an imaginary kid, because no doubt it will be cheaper than relocating

Prices going up ? no nay never, thought it was going to be £5 each according to some (many in fact) <- (slightly tongue in cheek before I get attacked).

Top football = top prices, anyone thinking otherwise was niaive.

theres hardly any kids in there, its just a way of making more money cause the majority of the north stand will have to fork out more money, should have give us more warning have already saved my season ticket money with a bit extra in case of a rise, you are talking a hell of a lot more money to go in another stand

Turfing thousands of fans from their seats is out of order without guaranteeing a same price replacement seat. With our ticket office this is 100% going to be a train wreck.

Are kids prices going up elsewhere in the ground then? I have two kids with me in Colin Bell L3 and at the current £95 fixed price wherever you sit there is no way I'd go back behind the goal.

This sounds like a really bad decision by the club.
