Cancelo is our version of TAA. TAA benefits from playing behind Salah. When Salah form starts to decline recently (comparing to his prime of course) TAA is exposed.

Cancelo benefits from playing behind our left wingers. I really think that our fan base under estimated our wingers. They are very good but don't enjoy the same freedom as their peers in the other teams. When you remove the winger, Cancelo is exposed as well.

Pep messed up with the double Rightback tweak to start the game. Lots of fans have suggested the possibility of this. But I'd always thought it was a silly idea. Cancelo is talented for a fullback. But average if he has to actually start as a winger.

Playing both he and Walker together on the same side was an embarrassment for both players.

I'm a huge Lewis fan. But Pep did the senior fullbacks a disservice.

That said, I thought he was decent. Looked like an average Right winger.

People forget that last season Joao played more minutes than Ederson and therefore was the most used player in the team.. :D

This season I think he got overplayed due to Walker injuries, so that's minor setback for him and soon will regain the form..

With Walker as RB and Joao as LB - we have the best fullbacks in the world..
