Best defensive defense Dias, laporte, walker and cancelo are droped to the bench, Best attacking bernardo silva and foden also dropped to the bench and zincho and jesus sold to arsenal in the middle of intense title race? Not good decision though.

The same people saying we should have kept Zinch, the same now with Cancelo, I would wager they all wear blue tinted glasses.

Pep's actions the last couple of weeks makes me think we have an incredible summer to look forward to and a new exciting squad of hungry players next season.

I agree mate. Tbh I don't know why I read those threads as it's just full of angry bastards even when we've won games. Weird fuckers.

fucking joke. a couple of shit performances and we’ve let go another player at full back.

On his day he was world class and incredibly destructive and that would have come back with man management and coaching.

Now we just need to sign anyone who plays left back in a top league and is over 24. no more kids or converted right backs or centre halfs. a left back. under 6ft, fast.
Stick to ringing cars

So you want to let Txiki know he’s a dickhead for selling a player that doesn’t want to be here? This place sometimes.

Him not wanting to be here is fine, all for letting someone unhappy go.

He is a dickhead for not signing a proper left back for 3 years when the need has been clear.

he's a dickhead for letting Zin go in summer and no replacement and relying on someone so volatile.

he's dickhead for not having anything lined up for Jan when cancelo's been sulking for weeks.

Ask any City fan what the biggest risk was going in to this season and it was the farce at left back and it's blown up spectacularly in our faces.

Not having any nonsense about only wanting the best either we've signed Gomez and Phillips last year for no other reason than they were available.

No Problem.

Txiki bringing Maguire in on loan £100/week and £80m option to buy,
so have CB cover should Laporte have to cover LB, if Ake gets injured

I completely understand him being shipped out based on some of the patchy form we've seen in recent months, more so if there's an attitude problem to go with it. Lads like Rico don't need to see professionals he's meant to look up to, behaving like self entitled twats (if that's the case of course).

However, there's a balance to be struck here surely? One of the most talked about subjects for as long as I can remember, is the left back position, and we've just let a guy who can play the role on either side leave. We are now going to rely on a centre back playing out of position or Gomez, who has an awful lot to prove.

The timing is atrocious as well when the window shuts next month. We have 3 competitions to play for, and the squad is now weaker than it was on 1st Jan.

I think this is the right decision, he shows no fight when he plays, its not a case of some games he plays 7's and some 9-10, its either 1-2 or 9-10.
