Still has a big part to play this season, I thought we were crying out for his pace and work rate vs Dortmund, not instead of Foden but as well as.

He's slightly out of form (not poor by any means though), hoping he has a big game vs Leeds as some of our players looks tired and we'll need him in Dortmund,

The best sign for a better future is definetely the club offering a higher rated contract extension to Raheem. If they do, they will know about his sportive, mental and personal situation in detail and I have good faith they know what they are doing.

That's probably the most worrying thing about Sterling's treatment by some supporters. It isn't just restricted to gobshites making noise on a forum. They go to the Etihad and make the same noise.

I keep reading people saying that Sterling is treated differently to others in the squad when it comes to criticism. That may well be true, but what those people don't seem to realise is that this is actually a City forum for City supporters. (The clue is in the header, Bluemoon).

For a lot of us Blues we know that Raz was hounded and victimised by the media because of his race. We know that he has taken pelters from the Scouse mafia. We know that he was booed at every PL ground after his City move. We know that opposition supporters have openly racially abused him during games. We know that he was attacked arriving at CIty's own training ground.

But we also know that even having suffered all that he has delivered time after time after time and is objectively one of City's greatest EVER players. So yes he's treated differently - but if you don't like it you can go fuck yourself with a cactus plant for all I care. This is a forum for City supporters. If you want chat like this is an Athletic or Daily Mirror editorial meeting, you'll get called out for it.
What grates on me is that when he has a good game, he’s one of the few players who get back-handed praise. “He did well but so he should being paid blah blah blah amount” and so on. His performance, even his best, have been over analysed and hit with ‘could have done betters’.

Compare with other players threads or conversations with supporters when they’re performing, the difference is often stark.

The problem being we haven't seen his best for such a long time, despite the nonsense spouted by those that claim otherwise.

Whether he's in or out of form, we simply need his pace and direction, imo. He never shies away from taking players on and is our only real pacey threat on the counter. He's my triple captain tomorrow for FPL, I have faith in you Raheem!

To say he never shys away from taking players on is a bit stretched.
It is only very recently that he started to have a go. Until then, and for a long time, he was virtually stalling going forward, opting to pass it on.

Is there a big difference? There has been so much vitriol against other players, the only difference I see is that for some reason, they didn't receive the same protection Sterling somehow seems to get.

You've had it explained to you very clearly why we are so protective of him. Clearly you don't feel the same way.
