Haalands was just being to nice there letting gundo take it for his hatrick but at 2-0 you don’t take that chance because we saw what happened when it was missed! Haaland misses it fair enough

A day to forget for the big man, hopefully he's got his shooting boots on against Madrid.

The scary thing is that despite his incredible goalscoring record he still misses a lot of chances for someone so prolific. All strikers will miss more than they score but can you imagine if he improved his conversion rate by even 5% which I think he is capable of as he's not reached his peak yet. His numbers would be unprecedented.

I actually respect the fact he's enough of a team player to have willingly given the penalty away. However, I hope he doesn't do it again

Can't have a go for passing the opportunity after breaking a record vs West Ham but was wasteful.

Incredible he didn't score today, a bad day in front of goal for the lad. He worked hard though and was a great presence.

Extremely unlucky. On another day, he could have scored 5 with the same chances. Hopefully he got it out of his systen before Madrid. I loved it how he handed the ball to Gundo for the pen, what a class act.

Dont think pep agreed
Yeah, long-term, I also would want Haaland to take every single pen, no exceptions, because he has like a 95+% pen record, but at 2:0 vs Leeds, maybe knowing Gundo is about to leave in the summer, it was a nice touch. Obviously, it backfired though, and it gave us a scare. Watching the game live, I thought Haaland maybe also figured it's not his game, and Gundo was exceptional and already had 2 goals, so at the time I thought why not.

Hope he’s saving them all for Madrid.

Funnily enough because he’s been breaking all the records at this time of the season but I think his form in front of goal has dropped off in the last month. He’s taking 2 or 3 chances when before it was 1 chance 1 goal.

He’s still scoring enough because we’re making enough chances, and I do feel he’s saving himself for the big games.

He’ll have got an absolute bollocking off Pep after the game, so hopefully he’s on fire against Madrid.
