but it was a question for some time how do we solve that they all want to play and all had expiring contracts in 2023, so we decided to renew with Mahrez and sell Sterling/Jesus, not sure that was a clever move really.
also we bought in Grealish who we didnt really need which also caused Sterling and Jesus game time more limited as Grealish did not replace anyone at first(in the sense of one in, one out)

You are just trying to blame everything on Grealish.

Jesus and Sterling both did not show any real interest to renew their contract BEFORE we brought in Grealish. Club offered extension multiple times to Sterling in 2019 and 2020 and he always found some excuses to refuse to sign it. Club feared that they were trying to run down the contract and go free. So they brought in Grealish in advance because we all know so called bed in period for Pep system.

If Sterling wanted to keep his place he should sign the contract. He had all the time but chose not to. Then he had to accept the consequence - a new winger shared his minutes.

Honestly, we’re the perfect team for him, but we’re not playing well. If he was making all these lung-bursting runs, he’d be getting the injuries he had at Dortmund. More considering all the extra games he’d play.

We need to play the ball to him, but if this is us underperforming, imagine if everyone was fit & firing.

Players should have more trust in themselves and at least TRY to give Haaland these balls...
Haaland vs goalkeeper is VERY VERY likely to score, so sometimes it's worth trying more difficult passes. Safe passes the whole game makes sense while using false 9, City now have a proper finisher...

He looks devastated, frustrated and very angry.

Hopefully he isnt regretting the move, because i wouldn't blame him.

Pep is killing his game, just as he has done with a couple of others.

xG 0,00 last game. First 8 matches he had 66 touches. Last 8 has been 33.

If I were him, I’d be thinking about fcuking off to a club that knows how to set up for his strengths. He must have expected better than this when he joined.

His personal stats are better than at any time in his career. He's breaking individual records. He won nothing with Dortmund. He's likely to win something with City (next season). Maybe we will do much better next season, if we get it right in the transfer market. It's not a given, though. Bernie and Gundo need to be replaced, and Kevin turns 32...Transitional period.

That’s on Pep.

And then it will be on the next manager. And then it won't be on the manager after the next manager, for Haaland will have moved (not because we don't create enough chances for him, but because he's that type of a person).

I don't buy the thought that it's easy to feed Haaland with good passes and that most of our problems will be solved just by trying to find him again and again. We are City, not Haaland plus 10 players.

You could screen shot 50+ of these through the season that we haven’t played in for Haaland. Unacceptable from our players. Just what the fuck are they playing at?
