3 in 3

Pretty much his usual goal a game ratio. Nothing to worry about.

As for the penalty, well he likes to whip them right in the bottom corner, inches from the post, which is great but there's really very little room for error, so every once in a while one might hit the post if you overcook the whip on it.

I'm OK with a player to have the confidence to do that rather than hit soft penalties that makes it easy for the keepers to save.

Poor today, however we aren’t releasing the ball enough to him for them burst pacing runs he does.
Thought the Sheffield keeper also made some great saves to be fair to haaland.

We need KDB back, it’s like he just knows where haaland is going to be to get the ball to him.

Bobbins today, and a bit meek in his attitude (seen that twice before against Everton and Forest).

He often bullies defenders but when they fight back he seems to get a bit moody. Still time for growing up for the kid.

The good thing is last week against Newcastle we saw Phil creating plenty of opportunities for Haaand and when they click with that even more, I think we will score a lot of goals from that

but obviously Phil had the quickshits today so he couldn't play a full game, but that's going to be the key for us.

Haaland get a load of goals again this season, no bother. Already got 3 in 3 and there's better to come.

An off (ish) day with:
One goal
One missed penalty
One missed chance
2 great saves forced

Just another quiet day for Erling

You mean when they grab and push him off the ball? Since the end of last season, it's noticeable how much more stick he is taking off the ball. He will find a way because he's a class player improving all the time. Two arms wrapped around him is "not enough there for a penalty" but the slightest of contact on a keeper and it's a free-kick.

Haaland is getting treatment from defenders like no other striker I've seen in the league. Refs are incompetent so don't expect any help from them.
