I think the same.

Scoring 4 against a championship side is not going to change any minds for anyone at the club imo.

Id rather he scored that one on one at Wembley last week then him score 4 today.

I like him and hes more than been worth what we paid but I think hes had enough time to stake a claim as a starter and he hasn't taken it.

Contributing as many goals/assists in the biggest games (Liverpool, Chelsea, PSG, Atletico) as Foden, Sterling and Grealish *combined* tells a different story. He's been our best big game player this season (not named KDB).

Would it be harsh of me to say he’s delivered when his fate is sealed and the pressure is off?

He’s got so much potential but he just can’t seem to take pressure. No one would look at todays game and say he’s not a striker, but he’s been so ruined by the pressure of scoring that he’s telling Pep he doesn’t want to play there.

He reminds me of Stones a few years back when he had all the tools but didn’t have the mentality. Often comes across a bit meek and always thinking things are going against him if he’s offside or fouls someone.

Stones matured and has become a really assertive player, maybe GJ can too.

I hope he stays, I like the versatility he brings and we don’t know if Alvarez is going to cut the mustard until he shows up and does it - it’s a massive step up from Argentina.

I just think like Stones he would really benefit from a sustained run in the side. He’s always returned good numbers when playing regularly.

Agree, it might be down to a little mental fragility. But for the main of his Cuty career, he could have scored every week and still made way for Aguero.

He’s scored 4 today, was our best player last time we faced Madrid. And I’d be stunned if he started Tuesday. Think Foden, Mahrez & Bernardo are nailed on.

Stats dont tell the whole story and you know that. Anyway, looks like hes leaving and I dont think its all down to the club. Hes being offered the chance to be the undisputed main man at Arsenal, double his wages and get himself back into the national team for a world cup. Pep can't offer that and Jesus knows that Pep doesn't trust him or he wouldn't be signing two strikers to play instead of him.

Lads just added a other 10 million to his price tag, incidentally I hope he stays. Jesus and Mahrez on the right in that top 3, mint!!

My point is that not being productive enough in big games is not the reason why he might leave. Nothing is decided yet, though. If he starts and plays well vs Real and say Liverpool in Paris, he may stay. Jesus is 25, Mahrez is 31. Why keep the latter and not the former?

More assists than KDB too, no?

I think we should renew hosting contract

Not because of today, but because he is a very good player

But he's just not going to be our number 9 full time, but he's more likely to be happy with a squad role and a decent wage

Get rid of Sterling, no way he is worth £300k per week right now given Jesus is on £90k atm

I agree. The club isn’t going to entertain discussions before the end of the season anyway
