How many chants are really "new and original" though? "You thought you'd won the league..." used to be "Uwe's grandad bombed the Stretford end" and we've sung the "...is a blue" song to a few players down the years.

New chants get made out of old tunes all the time. I prefer something simple and effective to some of the shocking efforts we've seen on this thread. We want something quick and to the point to shout when he scores a goal, not something too long and wordy like the Ruben Dias chant that not everybody knows.

The tune was originallly the tevez song we sang when he was a rag

So it would be it's 4th usage by blues

I still haven't heard or seen a satisfactory Haaland song, so please consider the following. I imagine thousands chanting this would be quite powerful.

I was at Hull City versus Sheffield United yesterday and they had a great song for Sander Berge to the tune of She’s Electric.

He’s Norwegian,
He’s He plays for the Blades with John Egan,
We’ll be playing in Europe next season,
He’s Sander Berge.

How about…

He’s Norwegian,
He’s been a City fan for 20 seasons,
His old man is part of the reason,
Erling Haaland.
