A Tribute to Manuel Pellegrini?

Am I going to have to contribute towards a full page thank you in the Santiago Times like we did in the Gazetta for Bobby Manc?

Deserves respect and thanks for the last 2 years of our journey and hopefully can sign off with a couple of trophies to silence some of the haters on here. Could be stubborn and inflexible at times with his team selections but one thing you can't deny is that we have been entertained so thanks and good luck Manuel and leave your legacy as the first City manager to win 2 doubles

Its funny but that laser sharp football journalist Gary Lineker tweeted - coz he's not bitter you understand - that he hoped Pellers had been

"informed from the start about Guardiola's arrival. Incredibly disrespectful on both counts if not "

Had the silly bearded wife collector attended the prezzer he'd have seen that Pellers announced it to the press himself and said he'd been aware for over a month that the deal had been concluded. Still fuck professional journalistic integrity and get your digs in eh Gary?

I'm not one for hypocrisy, should have gone over a year ago. Appreciate what he brought in his first season but a lot of what happened since just wasn't good enough. Hopefully he can lead us to a couple of trophies this season and go out on a real high. That's achievable and would be something special. He will be rightly praised for his dignified manner through all of this though I'll give him that.
Good post this and I think once you get over the sentimental side of things as I think most City fans are generally good natured and feel abit sorry for him... It's exactly the right decision for the club

MP has taken a lot of shite on this forum , mostly undeserved ,and mainly knee jerk after match crap , MP has his principles , he plays football to entertain , he is not the best tactician , but you would watch a MP side over any results driven team managed by a manager like Mourinho . Pellers has treated the media frenzy over his future with the utmost contempt and has just got on with the job , the club has also handled the situation superbly , cannot wait to see Pep in the job , but it will be a sad day when a true gent and scholar/engineer leaves the club in June , lets get behind him and the team for the next few months , we have got 4 trophies to win

Respect where it is due. Both club and manager have handled this situation with absolute class and dignity.

I will thank Pellegrini the day he actually leaves the club. He is not gone yet and has a big job to do. I fully expect the squad giving their all to hand the manager the best of goodbyes and in the way Pellegrini wants them to. Outscoring the opponent.
