A Tribute to Manuel Pellegrini?

Class act. Certainly not the best manager in the world but certainly one of, if not the most classy.

Hope everyone gets behind him for the rest of the season as he's done nothing but give his all for City & would love to send him off with some successes.
 
I think that City and Manuel Pellegrini are to be commended on the way they have done this - with maturity and professionalism throughout. We often hear a lot about succession planning and this is how it is done - you sell the decision to all parties and keep everyone onside. I really hope that the club can find a way to keep Manuel within the business one way or another.

I know he's had a lot of flak on here but beating Everton over two legs in a semi-final with the whole world and media rooting against us was an incredible achievement: plenty of other marques of Man City would have not passed that test....

Manuel's departure is not too disimilar to that of Joe Mercer way back in the day; Joe, despite his brilliant achievements and genial, mature temperament was replaced by the highly rated, highly respected, 'up and coming' young turk that was Malcolm Allison...........
 
I would like to say a Massive Thank You to Manuel Pellegrini for the work he brought to out team (MCFC) he has been the most calming influence in our team, he has handled everything in a perfect manner, I would like to see him to manage his National team rather than go to one of our rivals, He is not called The Engineer for no reason. THANK YOU & BEST WISHES to you and your family.
 
I love this guy - but I also feel he is slightly tinged with sadness at leaving as I honestly believe he has the City bug and has great feelings for our great club. I'll be cheering Manuel all the way to the day he leaves - Win, Lose or Draw
 
Will never forget his biggest contribution...steadying the ship after Bobby. That really saw this team take off and play some of the best football the PL has seen. A real class act that charming man!

He should easily land another high profile position considering his record. I just hope it isn't in the PL.
