mancini is spot on there hes not a top player yet, not until he starts taking his chances , love him to bits but there is alot of competition at city and thats the way to find the truly great players, i players who will tak any opertunity to show that they are the best not whinge to the paper

Nowhere near David Wagstaffe an' Neil Young! He comes on, attracts defenders like flies round shite, beats a couple, gives the ball away, an' 'e thinks 'es fuckin' Garrincha!

Yes, if he has been as blatant, as made out by the sun, that he is 'considering his options' (The article below seems more believable)

Please ignore Sun and read this :

But to suggest he isn't a good player is just wrong. We know he has talent, and we know he needs time to develop, but he isn't a bad player, so people saying so are making emontionally fueled judgements which are incorrect.

Hes daft because hes spouting to the press-hes been at the club 5 minuites

I havent suggested hes a bad player at all though

He needs to improve aspects of his game and become an even better player

Defenses have him sussed out-hes running at 2/3 defenders too often instead of making better final runs and getting into 1 on 1 situations.

hes good but not great-at the moment.

And he has spoken too much to the press and his goal celebrations are a veiled dig at the manager-doing it to any manager is wrong by the way.

Mancini better start playing him, him, Tévez, Silva and de Jong should start every game if they're all fit.

He's miles better than Milner and has only had one bad game, in which he wasn't even bad, he just never got the ball. Whereas Milner, for me, has only had one good game, against Liverpool, the majority of Milners performances have been either poor or mediocre.

Why should Mancini do that? Mancini is the boss, not Johnson. What Johnson has done is petty and shows how much of a big headed twat he actually is.

Why are people so quick to dismiss this as bollocks? When Rooney said he wanted out the other week, (which were press reports), we all loved it and believed it 1000%. Why not this then? There are quotes there from Johnson himself.
My personal belief is that if he wants to go, i'll drive him where he wants to go too. You don't say shit like that, you say you are disappointed not to start but its down to me to knuckle down and get into the team. Maybe he said it whilst he was pissed as a fart, during his piss up in St Andrews?

You have not done anything spectacular yet my skinny little friend, you are still just a ssquad player. Knuckle down, pull your socks up, stay off the piss and focus.

Indeed!

can you tell me why you think he thinks he is garrincha?

work ethic on the pitch? no
charlie attitude? no

aaaahhh oh yes, mancini publically slating him. thats why you think that.

his man management style is crap.

aj has so much raw potential, it is up to mancini to get the best out of him and he isn't. southgate and capello have managed him quite nicely, but it looks like mancini can't. he isnt inspiring any performances. hasnt developed anyone either.

Of course Johnson hasn't been playing well - Mancini is killing his game!!!

He is an out and out winger. Wingers aim to assist by crossing - when you're two up front are tevez and silva then he won't get many successful crosses.

If he crosses - we lose the ball. If he runs at people he may lose the ball which is often what happens. Or he passes back to work around through midfield and every fan complains that it is too defensive.

Feel sorry for AJ myself - he wants to run down the line and cross - but there isn't anyone on the end. Give santa cruz another chance (for the first time on saturday in a city shirt he looked to by fully fit) and see if his crosses have more impact. And i would play santa cruz over adebayor as adebayor seems to hate challenging for headers!!

Dogshit

so Mancini hasnt developed anybody at City then

Ask the back five that
De Jong is a better player under Mancini
Boyota has come on leaps and bounds

And have you heard of any of the numerous players he nurtured and developed at Inter?

Listen, its fine you not liking Mancini but give the guy some credit FFS

Some of you are a joke!

We all laughed at the scum when they started to say Rooney was overated and shit because he said he wanted to leave them now you lot are doing the fucking same!

He has been a revelation for us since signing from Middlesborough and has shown glimpses of what he could turn out to be. When he scored that goal for England where he skinned the keeper he was in the form of his life and everyone here was jizzing their pants over the lad now your all going back on your word?

Why should we get rid of someone thats wants to play? Surely thats we are all asking for in a player? We have enough of those twats sitting on the bench and willing to take the wage packet like RSC and JO.

He is class and will be class but how would you feel if your manager is slagging you off everyweek to the press and media? Start playing him Mancini you clown.

Stillsy let me get this straight.

Because i put the club before Adam Johnson, who has;

been out on the piss on a number of occasions, 2 that the majority know about,

put 2 fingers up to Mancini when he urged him to behave,

and now comes out in the press, at a time when the club and our fans have differing opinion's (Great timing by the way Johnno), and will no doubt disrupt the dressing room when we need to be unified.

And we're the joke?

I agree with most of that apart from playing Santa Cruz ahead of Adebayor. Put the ball in the right place and Ade is excellent in the air. I hope to god Ferguson never gets his claws on Johnson, because if he did the lad would be a revelation and make us look very very stupid.

People can blame it on Mancini all they want,

but the fact is that without Mancini he wouldn't be anywhere near the England set up.

The player people rate so highly was brought in by Mancini and put straight into the team, and improved greatly under him.

The way we are playing does not suit Johnson at all, I will say that much...
