Adam Johnson admits he may quit City???

We do not want to lose a player with good potential like this. I know everybodys saying he has no end product but lets wait a season or two to see if he improves he's still only a young lad

I think Mancini was absolutely stupid for coming out in the media and publically criticising Johnson.

What good did he expect to achieve?

I want Mancini to stay but sometimes i think what he says to the media get lost in translation. I think until he gets a proper grasp of the english language he should not speak to the media.

No different to Whiskey lambasting Giggs, Beckham and Sharp in the press, back in the day.

I agree - his man management is awful.

We seem to have a different player unhappy every week - i don't buy that the media hate us as much as everyone else seems to. There is no smoke without fire. Look around:
Bellamy, Johnson, Given, Adebayor, Tevez, Bridge, Wright-Phillips and Santa-Cruz are players that have stated they aren't happy in the last couple of months!!!!! Add on to that half the team going out getting pissed weeks after he says not to....

Clearly he can't be the best motivator in the country. I hate Ferguson but you don't hear the shit coming out of old trafford - yeah there was Rooney a few weeks ago but it's not every player slating the manager. I for one don't believe everything is right in the dressing room.

I suspect forevercity could add a good few names to that list but I won't embarrass him.

afew more yep, but this place would go into serious denial.

played cup games under Hughes too

Only played in both semi's. Never played for Hughes

From the OS:

Born in Belgium, Dedryck arrived at the Academy from FC Brussels in the summer of 2007. He gradually established himself as a central defensive linchpin in the side that went on to win the FA Youth Cup a year later, and he has since continued to hone his game alongside the senior squad at Carrington.

Often featuring for City’s reserves, Dedryck represented his country at Under 21 level before being called to the bench for City's first team at the start of Roberto Mancini's reign as Blues manager.

He looked perfectly at home in his debut at Middlesbrough in the FA Cup third round, and made his Premier League bow as a substitute in the home win over Blackburn Rovers on January 11, 2010. His five starts in 2009-10 included the Carling Cup semi-final derby, and he won the Young Player of the Year award at the end of the campaign.

let me dig out some stats, sure he has though.

-- Tue Nov 16, 2010 2:21 pm --

apologised then blues, I was adamant that he had. hats off to you lot and to mancini for getting a good youngster and getting some level of perfromance from him

Not meaning to change the subject but I didnt think it was worthy of its own topic. Was speaking to a guy who does the PR for a lot of the players, basically does anything for them (getting them into clubs, restaurant bookings etc).. he was telling me that when Bobby picks the team, he just walks in the room, puts the team on the board and walks straight out - zero interaction with the players about why theyre playing/not playing, which has really had a few of them miffed. Might be utter tosh, hence not making a topic on it.

forevercity if you are so unhappy hughes is not our manager anymore why don't you become foreverfulham and post on there, look where fulham are in the table, they have only won 2 games and DRAWN 8, hughes should be renamed the sketcher, he loves to draw!
The big difference is he hasn't got money to squander now, 18 million for RSC 24 million for the dosy lump Lescott...
