I agree with the posts above, but would like to understand some of the personal vitriol aimed towards him because obviously I am out of the loop. The guy wears a smile constantly and from the askadam video he seemed like one of the soundest members of the squad with a great sense of humour. But if I am missing something obvious then I would like to know.

That's what i'v noticed, all this talk about 'bad attitude' but never any specifics. He doesn't strike me as the kind of bloke who causes problems like has been claimed on here religiously.

I will not slag off A.J at all but, I'm pretty sure the reason some people on here think he has an attitude problem, is because he usually has a face like a smacked arse. Are you thinking of Andy Johnson? Again, not saying he has an attitude problem.

Hi Adam.
AJ doesn't deserve the flack he gets on here. He makes things happen and scored some important goals for us last season. He goes missing over 90 minutes we all agree on that but that's not enough for some fans to be personally attacking him.

may have over egged that a bit. No one constantly wears a smile unless their fucking crazy. I was more referring to when i'v seen him in training vids etc

As I've said before about Milner - if he has a city future he must reinvent himself as a wingback and learn the art of tracking back. Milner seems to have done so, and so will be retained. AJ, on the other hand, has not - so wont be.
There is no place in the modern game for an out and out winger who does nothing else. This,of course, is why Dzeko and Carroll struggle too.

This for me says it all. Bored at pre-season training???!!! No enthusiam for being back, rest of the lads all seemed keen to be back.

Think thats the bad attitude Bobby Manc refers to. 100% all the time, is needed at a top club. Even in training.

Cant say i am suprised if tru but dissapointed to be honest but then again his performances pre season looked lethargic
Hope he goes out on a loan rather than we sell him - Neverton seems a good club to go to i guess but be fookin annoyed if he ended anywhere near Jokepool cant stand that Rogers twat
