Well, he certainly outplayed Rodri and De Bruyne.
We comfortably beat them. He is hardly Yamal when it comes to talent at a young age

Not at Crystal Palace's valuation. I'd rather give minutes to the likes of McAtee and NunesHe’s perfect to play some minutes and learn the role whilst giving Rodri some rest against the poorer teams.
Neither of whom are a 6.Not at Crystal Palace's valuation. I'd rather give minutes to the likes of McAtee and Nunes
There are still better 6's about at a reasonable fees. Either players could be converted at push. If Pep wished he could even move Rico Lewis to that postiton.Neither of whom are a 6.
Name them. There are still better 6's about at a reasonable fees.
Kimmich for starters. Zubimendi is another.Name them.
So, just as expensive, much older and on huge wages and would want to play every game.Kimmich for starters.
Kimmich for starters.
Wharton will not come cheap either. Kimmich is a seasoned player at a higher profile club. And his wage demands ?
Now you've finally grasped he isn't an attacking midfielder ala Mcatee, do you want to suggest any of these 6's we can get who are young enough and good enough to play a squad role for us at sub 50m?There are still better 6's about at a reasonable fees. Either players could be converted at push. If Pep wished he could even move Rico Lewis to that postiton.
Still a much better player than Wharton who only has potential. So, just as expensive, much older and on huge wages and would want to play every game.
Not the best option.
McAtee can be converted if required to play deeper if Pep wished. He still has plans for him. Rico Lewis is another who could play the 6 if Pep wants him in that role. Both are young players who still have time on their sides and are equally talented as Wharton. Now you've finally grasped he isn't an attacking midfielder ala Mcatee, do you want to suggest any of these 6's we can get who are young enough and good enough to play a squad role for us at sub 50m?
Kimmich would be the better option should Walker leave. He’d then have an avenue to more first team games.Still a much better player than Wharton who only has potential.
I disagree especially what Palace would ask for Wharton.Kimmich would be the better option should Walker leave. He’d then have an avenue to more first team games.
As it stands, we need an understudy to Rodri. That generally means an uo and coming youngster to learn or an older player not so fussed about minutes.
A lot of us in here think Wharton ls the best option of that type of player.
Similar price to Kimmich. 8 years younger. Wouldn’t demand to play every game. Learns from Rodri. Takes over from Rodri.I disagree especially what Palace would ask for Wharton.
Then McAtee is another you've hardly watched. Pep is a genius but even he couldn't turn McAtee in to a 6. Why would he want to he's got the potential to be a great player for City in the role he's played his whole career - a role that hasn't remotely been as a 6.McAtee can be converted if required to play deeper if Pep wished. He still has plans for him.
I have seen him a lot and he is just as talented as Wharton and he has cost us nothing. If Wharton was highly talented he would already been snapped up by a higher profile club by now. Then McAtee is another you've hardly watched. Pep is a genius but even he couldn't turn McAtee in to a 6. Why would he want to he's got the potential to be a great player for City in the role he's played his whole career - a role that hasn't remotely been as a 6.
I rather keep the money for someone who is more talented.Similar price to Kimmich. 8 years younger. Wouldn’t demand to play every game. Learns from Rodri. Takes over from Rodri.
No different to Rodri graduating into Fernandinho’s boots.
