Which team will be the first to get 20 minutes added time ?
There was the obligatory Arsenal drinks break around 57 mins which took about 2 minutes, and City’s celebrations I suppose. Can’t think of more than 5 or 6 minutes total in the second half, it really was played quite fairly with no time-wasting or VAR checks.Manufactured bollocks, and just another thing to ruin the game.
That added time yesterday was a joke.
Except the two that Arse made towards the end took 20 seconds in total. Timekeeping has been a joke for years and it’s going to get worse. Look how many times we have been winning 5-0 and despite six subs, goal celebrations, an injury and time wasting the ref has added on three minutes as if to say what the point. I suspect this nonsense won’t last long as managers will start to question why so long has been added on. I reckon six minutes maximum should have been added yesterday. Would be interesting to know what the ball in play time was yesterday compared to our games last year. The allocated time is 30 seconds per sub as a minimum. 8 subs were used today in the second half so thats 4 minutes to start with.
That would be a change too far.It will be a precursor for introducing 3 playing periods of 35 mins each.
I mentioned the same yesterday, as probably everyone did. “Injury injury time”.Probably need another board going up indicating added time in added time otherwise nobody has any idea when the whistle is going.
The TV companies will not put up with this, it will destroy their scheduling, it will be ended in a matter of weeks and normal service resumed.Like other new rules that happen to pop up in City`s first game of the seasons it could be forgotten about very quickly.
Some came on at the same time ?The allocated time is 30 seconds per sub as a minimum. 8 subs were used today in the second half so thats 4 minutes to start with.
