It's a fast track system for the violent conduct charge he has until 6pm wednesday 16-9-09 to answer the charge admit guilt or challenge the charge. The FA will make their desicion on thursday.

It's a bit of a kangaroo court as if he admits guilt he will receive the punishment 95% sure it will be 4 game ban and proberly £10,000 fine, if he challenges the charge it doesn't add anytime they still decide Thursday 17-9-09 and he will proberly get a bigger ban for challenging the charge.

Either way he is out for minimum 3 games more likley 4 but could be 5-6 if he challenges the charge.

The improper conduct will not be for approx 3-6 months but he can expect another ban when the charges are heard.

Why is that? They hand out warnings and fines for similar incidents.

Just sent this to the FA, doubt it'll make a difference, but got it off my chest anyway:

Follow the decision to charge Adebayor following two incidents on Saturday, a few questions have arisen:

Will Robben Van Persie be charged for improper conduct following his celelbration after his goal? He ran towards the City fans in the Colin Bell Stand, away from his own supporters, left the pitch, and swore repeatedly towards the fans there. Surely, this is worse than what Adebayor, who did not leave the pitch, or swear or gesture at the Arsenal fans.

Why has Adebayor been charged following his goal celebration? As the referee had already dealt with the issue by giving him a yellow card, then doesn't this go against the FA's policy of not 're-refereeing' games?

Will Mak Clattenburgh be punished for not seeing an incident that was 3 yards ahead of him and that he was looking straight at? Or has he been leant upon to say he didn't see it, so that Adebayor could be charged?

Will Van Persie be charged for a dangerous, two-footed foul on Adebayor? Or indeed, the other times when Arsenal players attempted to foul/injure Adebayor?

All of the above being the case, the fact that Adebayor has been charged at all, or that Van Persie hasn't as well, seems to show that the FA have a bias in favour of the so-called 'big four'. I would appreciate a response to this, and not just an automated, 'thanks for your feedback' e-mail as I did last time I complained of FA bias against Manchester City.

Many Thanks

Ben

Remember the old days of the 50's and 60's (well probably most of you won't - speak to Dad or Grandad) when the player who scored was met with a firm, manly handshake from perhaps a couple of players as they ran back to the halfway point in a gentlemanly fashion.

Well that's what we should do on Sunday. Every time we stick one past Foster we should behave like that Cholmondley-Warner chappie from the Harry Enfield TV series - you know - the wimmin, know your limits guy - and behave with utter dignity and decorum, as the eyes of the world watch us.

Even the FA would realise the p155 was being taken out of them big time.

Thinking the same thing. On the other hand, I'd also like City to try walking back to their places in an exaggeratedly feminine manner. They'd do us for either of them though, under a revolutionary interpretation and application of the Horlock Doctrine (aggressive walking).

The similar incidents predominantly involve rag players, and David Gill is on the FA.

Gill on the FA board is exactly why the FA is inconsistent when it comes to enforcing the laws to certain clubs. Can't be a fair board with only two premier league clubs repersented.

TBH what i found more amazing on saturday was not the stamp on RVP or ade celebration it was the fact that SWP manage to find the head of adebayor off a cross. Unbelieverable........
