For someone who is lucky to be alive after the attack a couple of years ago on the Togo team bus he is one greedy c**t.
Wtf is that about, get a grip.
Whats wrong with that post? for someone who nearly died, usally look at life in another prespective later on. Where money aint that important especailly when you already got shitloads to begin with.

but in simple terms i believe he tried to say, Ade is a grade A ****

If its all about money, then how about this one. Ade has a charity which he contributes to. So what if the sheik donated say £5mill from his own funds to Ades charity so Ade doesn't have to. That way he gets his money it's just in a different way and allows the transfer to proceed without impacting on him personally. Can't see how a donation by the sheik could be seen as money from city

Looks like we've caved in and reached a compromise. But at least we'll get rid.

Manchester City believe they are close to brokering a compromise deal that will see Emmanuel Adebayor leave for Tottenham at last.

City are ready to subsidise the Togo striker’s wages at White Hart Lane for the next two seasons, and will hand him a significant chunk of the £5million fee as a pay-off.

It means the champions will have to write off almost all the £25m they paid Arsenal for Adebayor three years ago.

City agreed to sell him in a cut-price deal after he spent last season on loan at Spurs.

But that move was blocked when Adebayor demanded his share of the fee because he would have to take a cut on the £170,000-a-week wages he earns at the Etihad.

Now City will help Spurs pay his salary and will also hand Adebayor most of the fee.

Boss Roberto Mancini urged the striker not to reject the deal, saying: “I am sorry for Adebayor because he has no chance at City.

“He has absolutely no chance of playing this season here.

"So, for us, it’s important he can find a good solution.”

Meanwhile, City are lining up Jack Rodwell, Everton's £20m-rated England midfielder.

If this is true this is an absolute joke, whoever sorts the deals out at City are a fu.kin disgrace, Spurs and the player are takin the p!ss and were takin it!!!

We paid Ade 3 times the wages that Arsenal had offered him to stay, we gave him extra time off after his ACN hijacking incident, we subsidised 100k of his wages whilst playing at Spurs, we had a deal verbaly agreed with Spurs and they couldn't agree his personal terms having reduced his price from 15-20mill to 5mill and now this.

City transfer peeps, pants down bend over and get your botties spanked by Spuds and Ade.

-- Sun Aug 12, 2012 7:13 am --

It was expected but at least he will be off our payroll. It will be a test of AVB's of questionable man man management skills.

That's a typical CITY quote!

We should have at least put in one of those clauses, not allowing him to play against us, when Spurs play us first this season.
We all know what he's going to be like when he plays against us.

Don't think they're legal any more. Would have to be a gentlemans agreement, and a gentlemans agreement with Levy isn't worth wasting our time and energy on.

Sincerely hope this is bullshit. I'm sick of Spurs' poor guy routine. Their income last year was £180 odd million, if memory serves, barely £10m less than City, and yet they're always waving the begging bowl. As for their precious wage structure, well they were quick enough to break it in order to keep monkey lugs at the club, so there's no reason they can't for Adebayor. If it means Bobby being upset then tough, but I would tell Spurs and our grasping cnut of a player to fuck off. I certainly wouldn't advocate ever doing business with Levy again

I really hope were not this stupid but it looks like were considering subsidising Adebayour wages to push thro a move to Spurs. Consider whats happened;

After a year long loan where City pay 5mill Ade wages Spurs want to sign him.
We agree a discounted value of 5mill (not 17mill) for Spurs to agree his wages. Ade rejects Spurs offer, he comes back and we pay 2.5mill wages.
Now it looks like we are paying Ade some of the 5mill transfer fee to get rid.

It looks to me like Spurs and Ade have colluded to rip City off, Spurs saved his wages during pre-season and haven't made a serious attempt to sign another striker, WHY NOT?. If we pay Ade 3mill of the 5mill transfer fee he will have cost us 22.5 mill in the last year to get rid.

As it stands we could have paid another club 5mill to take him off our hands at the start of the transfer window and been 500k better off. Mancini could have been getting his original transfer targets that he identified at the end of last season and City would have had more time to negotiate better deals.

Agreed, we all knew what Ade and spurs are like.

Should have let khaldoon settle this...this is a fucking joke.
What would Khaldoon do to push it through? Wave a wand?

This is a game of brinkmanship
