Are you using Chrome mate? If so, can you try this:
Chrome > Settings > Advanced settings > Use hardware acceleration when available (deselect)
just done it and seems to have worked.
Maybe it's Maybeline..

Can't bud. I can't post on tiny pic as its blocked out here and only have a vpn on my laptops.
But the blackbox down at the bottom (an add that never ever actually loads and just has a spinning wheel) stays in front of the submit button when I try and edit.
Not on tiny pic without a vpn no.you can't post pics on the internet there. Is it same for everyone?

You beat me to it.
It's a bit and miss this time around, sometimes there's no issue and the next page load it hangs. Thanks for letting me know lads, will chase up again with the ad company.
Same with me, it is so frustrating - how the hell can we stop it?It's definitely the Maybeline ad that's causing the problem
I've done the deselect thing and cleared history and cache
The Maybeline ad popped up again straight away and the page was really slow loading. I logged in it was a Coral ad and no problems. I skipped around a couple of threads and when Maybeline appeared and the pages were dead slow again

You can also click the 'stop loading this page' button in Chrome (the 'X') and the posts immediately appear although you do lose a bit of functionality.Sussed it
As soon as a page starts to load with the Mabeleine ad, hit the back button and then forward. It should come up with a different ad and no issue loading the page
