You said the governments messaged was die at home. Now you’re saying care homes. You’ve also ignored that most people going into care homes sign DNRs.I don't know what your threshold of proof is. We're not in a court of law, I'm expressing my view on what has happened based on accounts of care home residents and care home managers.
If care homes are saying they've been told hospitals won't accept their residents then I'm inclined to believe them. Especially given hundreds of care residents back into care homes when all of this kicked off without even testing them for COVID19.

So that happened because he missed a few meetings at a time his scientific advisors were telling him it wasn't a big threat.
I'm not a Johnson supporter but this thread would be so much better with a bit of balance.

Care homes are homes. People live there. The clue is in the home bit? And I didn't say that was the government's message.
As for the bit about DNRs, I didn't ignore that at all. Any article you read on the subject includes that detail. The point is that people in homes are saying there was an unusually big drive to get people to to sign them en masse.

We didn’t have enough PPE because the government didn’t prepare properly.
The government didn’t prepare properly because Boris Johnson was taking weekends off and thought it more important to dance with a dragon outside number 10 rather than attend COBRA meetings.
The government didn’t prepare properly because the PM was “shaking hands” with coronavirus patients instead of following WHO advice on social distancing, testing, track and trace and getting PPE for frontline workers.
He wanted to rely on British exceptionalism instead of science. He even said Britain would be the “Clark Kent going in to the phone booth and coming out as Superman”. The fucking bulb.
