Being a baldy has its pros. A quick 5 mins with the clippers every couple of weeks sees me right. Hairdressers still not open in Scotland. I think it will be mid July until that happens. We are at phase 2 of a 4 phase lockdown relax. Officially, we are expected to stay 'local' within 5 miles of home although that particular rule is being widely breached. Its cary out only for us although they have been flirting with the idea of reopening beer gardens and the like. Return to schools is a bit of a shambles UK wide.
The schools are hands down the toughest issue. I can handle all this stuff -- I;m working and healthy; that's 95% of the battle won. But what do two-income parents with young kids do? How do teenagers (like mine) handle this emotionally? My son hated online learning and suffered; my daughter took to it fine. Now that it's summer, my son is busy doing all kinds of things for himself while my daughter is really struggling, unable to maintain social connections. I think they are both relatively healthy but I'm very worried how this impacts them.
